Example of intensive team training:
A company created a new department by merging smaller departments.
It was crucial for the company that the employees understood the strategy and the new responsibilities, and were able to break with old habits and habitual thinking. It became clear in the team training that there was some unspoken resentment against the merger together with a frustration of not being involved in the process.
Team training was used to clarify the strategy and goals, and to talk about mutual expectations in a way so everyone was heard and given opportunity to express own opinion. It became clear that much of the hostility was rooted in uncertainty in relation to new managers, colleagues and tasks.
The result was a real implementation of the strategy and a developing efficiency in business processes.
