Example of Coaching:

A leader felt out of touch with his direct reports and wanted to have more influence in the management team.
In the coaching process it became clear to him that his lack of personal presence made it impossible to be in close contact with his direct reports. Because he was not aware of what was important to him, he had not expressed himself clearly and consequently had no impact on the management team.
With the support of coaching he worked with his self-awareness. This gave him greater precision and more courage to express himself honestly and personally.

The coaching improved his ability to lead, and he began to utilize his leadership potential - all for the benefit of the company.
